How Quiz Playground works

There are three steps and none of them involve creating an account. Choose a game, play it, and your progress saves itself in your browser.

Games are grouped by subject and each one states the class band it suits, so you can pick by what a child is working on rather than guessing from a title. Games with levels start at level one and unlock progressively, and the level you reached is remembered on that device.

Everything runs in the browser on phones, tablets and desktops. Most of the site keeps working offline once it has loaded, which matters where connections are unreliable.

1. Choose a game
Browse the full library or a subject category. Every game page describes what it teaches, which class it suits and what a child should already know before starting.
2. Play
Games start immediately. Ten questions typically complete a level and take about three minutes. Wrong answers are corrected on screen rather than simply marked wrong.
3. Progress saves itself
Levels and scores are stored in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is shared, and no account exists to be logged into.
What it costs
Nothing. The site is free and is funded by advertising, which is not personalised because the audience is children.
